Students who achieve the ranking of Brown Belt or higher focus their attention on pure Kosho Kempo movements, strategies, concepts, and techniques.  There is no longer a focus on learning specific self -defense techniques, but instead the emphasis is on psychological, structural, and physical manipulation strategies. Students at these advanced levels also become adept at use of the Katana and other advanced weapons.
