Weapons Training Class

The Weapons Training class focuses on additional practice and skills development for students who are learning to use the many weapons we teach.  Classes help students perfect essential weapons skills and develop a deeper understanding of weapon usage, safety, and strategies.

Weapons taught in these classes will vary depending upon the belt and knowledge level of attending students and their weapons experience.  Training generally involves drills, kata, and practical application of the following weapons:

• Bo Staff

• Jo Staff

• Nunchakus

• Fighting Sticks

• Tonfas

• Boken

• Tanto and Knives

• Katana

Pricing

Weapons Training classes are free for students in our Adult Group, Children's Group, Private Instruction, and the Family and Friends programs.  Students must be proficient in at least one kata utilizing a specific weapon and must have their instructor's permission before they can attend a Weapons Training Class with that weapon. These classes are not open to outside enrollment.
